Djokovic, Isner ease into Belgrade quarters

A second-seeded Isner, meanwhile, blew past Frenchman Josselin Ouanna 6-2, 6-4 on Day 4. The massive-serving American drilled 16 aces and held his powerful serve throughout the match.

The ever-improving Isner's quarterfinal opponent will be another Frenchman, former top-10 star Richard Gasquet, who upended eighth-seeded Italian Andreas Seppi 4-6, 6-2, 7-5.

Friday's other quarters will pit third-seeded American Sam Querrey against tough Russian Igor Andreev and fourth-seeded Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka versus sixth-seeded Serb Viktor Troicki.
